WW1 British 47th Divisional Supply Column Photo Album

A home made photo column compiled by a Pte.Philip Charles Lowman who served as M2/054150 with the 47th Divisional Supply Column ASC with the BEF. Containing 64 images, all annotated featuring the work of the DSC probably early in the deployment of the Expeditionary Force. Images include views of equipment, lorries, motorcycles, workshops, officers, locals etc., as well as personnel including the ubiquitous shot wearing captured picklehauben.
Pte.Lowman went on to join the RFC and then on to the RAF where he gained a commission as a 2/Lt. All unpublished images and album in generally good condition and is accompanied by MiC and RASC medal entitlement record copies.
