WW1 British Grenade Money Box.

An example of a WW1 British No.23 grenade that has been converted into a money box. No internals with the base plug replaced by a pressed tin lid with a slot cut approx. 3/4 of the way up the body. Retains original lever and pin. Body marked ' F ' with the original black lacquered finish retaining the remains of the original label.
