1970's Parachute Regt. Beret.

Salty Parachute Regt. beret with Northern Ireland connections. Heavily worn beret retaining it's ' as worn ' shape with a shaved appearance. Size 6 7/8 manufactured by Compton, Sons, & Webb Ltd with a blackened stay bright Parachute Regt. cap badge. Typical of service in Northern Ireland the stay bright badges were blackened with boot polish to make them less conspicuous. Good, characterful example.
