1941 W.A.A.F Peaked Cap

Based on the ATS pattern and seeing service throughout WW2 this is an example worn by o/rs and ncos. It features a blue grey wool body, black patent leather peak with green underside and a rayon lining with integral oilcloth protector. A black mohair band mounted with a brass King's crown RAF cap badge to centre with a black patent chin strap below. Manufacturer's details ' J.Collett Ltd ', date:1941, and size:7 are seen beneath the translucent oil cloth protector. Name tag tacked to liner with name and number repeated in ink to underside of peak. Excellent, clean, used example.
