WW1 'Borough of Southend 1915 Volunteer war worker badge'; large, 35mm gilt and enamel example, bearing ' VW ' logo on blue enamel ground, within white title surround; the reverse impressed with unusual maker's details 'Rayleigh Studio Farringdon Avenue E.C.' and 'Reg.638252' a registration design and patent year of 1914. Good, used condition, with buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel.
