RAF No 54 Fighter Squadron Badge.

C1940s gilt and enamel lapel badge by H.W.Miller depicting a lion rampant and Latin motto ' Audax Omnia Perpeti ' ( Boldness endures anything ). Flying Spitfires from Manston during the Battle of Britain the squadron eventually headed to Australia in 1942 where it was disbanded in 1945. Excellent, bright condition.
