R.A.F. 23 Squadron Lapel badge.

WW2 period R.A.F No 23 Battle of Britain Squadron gilt and enamel badge, depicting an eagle preying on a falcon and Latin motto ' Semper Aggressus ' ( Always on the attack ) 23 Squadron was the original Mosquito Intruder squadron, having been equipped with the Blenheim IF previously.
Pin fitting to reverse, manufacturer marked ' H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St. B'Ham.18 ', 33mm. In good, undamaged condition.
