1920's RAF Middle East Photograph Collection.

80+ b/w photographs that act as a record of an RAF serviceman's duty in the Middle East. Various formats from Brownie type prints to larger 8" x 6" images that start with early life in Manston in 1922 and move via ship to Egypt and Iraq. The images include personal shots of service life including vehicles with a large number showing various aircraft, DH9, Vimy, Fairey III, Hawker Hind, Blackburn Swift etc. These aircraft were
typical of the types employed in the Middle East during the 1920's and early 30's. Also includes a good number of aerial shots, aircraft, Pyramids, airfields etc. This collection was believed to have been the property of E.L.Baxter.
