Original, 1916 dated Imperial German - C96 Broomhandle Mauser holster. This example is dated 1916 to the reverse with a Dresden makers' details and issue marks ' BAXII16 '. In heavily used condition with a period repair to the cup with the fixing stud to the magazine pouch now missing and a 20mm tear to the cleaning rod retainer, otherwise sound condition. Scarce item.
