NICKEL HITLER YOUTH BUCKLE WITH ORIGINAL BELT.

A nice find from my friend in Germany. An untouched and uncleaned Hitler Youth nickel buckle with a nice brown belt. The buckle could do with a good clean if you so desire, as it is covered in years of patina, that mainly looks like nicotine! There are no maker marks on the reverse of the buckle at all, which leads me to believe that this is an early piece. The belt is also interesting. Brown leather with inside adjustment tab, this belt has been cut down to fit the very small Hitler Youth waist! The adjustment tab has been repositioned and the open end has been carefully shortened. Quite an obvious thing to do really. Adult waist is 35-36” upwards, this now fits someone with a 26” waist. Ideal. Great item.
