U.S. Vietnam War Slouch Hat.

Locally made slouch hat worn by a US service man based at U.Tapao airfield in Thailand during the Vietnam War. Popular non-regulation slouch hat with locally produced insignia to both sides but unfortunately with no naming or unit reference. U.Tapao airbase was constructed by the US, south of Bangkok and opened in 1966 and the following year was home to B-52s operating sorties over Vietnam until cessation of hostilities. Good, used condition with clear signs of wear in the humid conditions of south east Asia.
