1943 Personalised Kukri.

An excellent example of a WW2 MkII British Pattern military kukri. Dated and manufacturer marked to steel blade ' J.N.B.43 ' with steel bolsters and brass and steel rivets. Wood and leather sheath with brass tip and the addition of a steel representation of Sgt's stripes surmounting a brass crescent. Brass shield to throat with inspection stamps above. A name ' Gates ' inscribed to reverse. Excellent, clean condition with clear evidence of sharpening.
