WW2 R.A.M.C. Brigadier's SD Cap
A good example of a WW2 service dress cap worn by a Brigadier or substantive colonel of the R.A.M.C. Fine serge body with dull cherry band and bullion King's crown badge. Leather sweatband with waxed lining with manufacturer's details impressed to lining and owner's details ' Benson ' to label underneath sweatband. Excellent, used condition with single moth hole to coloured band at the rear and partial failure of stitching to headband.
