WW2 British Parachute Wing.

A good example of a British WW2 Airborne jump qualification wing. Embroidered to produce a high relief with stylised feathers with the parachute in similar relief . The wings embroidered directly onto a khaki wool with cheesecloth type backing. Now faded from use with clear evidence of having been removed from a uniform with original bright colouring to reverse.
