1940 Irish Guards SD Cap.

1940 dated SD cap by Silberston & Sons worn by a member of the Irish Guards. Size 7 1/8 with gilded Irish cap badge and Irish Guards button supporting the leather chin strap. Wool body with an oil cloth headband and lining. Faint but legible manufacturer's details and clear inspection marks. Good used condition with some minor moth grazing and some minor holing.
