Gilded zinc Auxiliary Cruiser war badge. Mid to late war type, one piece construction with round wire Tombak pin and catch. Although unmarked this example displays the qualities indicating probable manufacture by Foerster & Barth, Pforzheim. The original guided and silvered finish has faded with wear to highpoints with areas of oxidisation around the catch and hinge.
