Standard zinc dog tag as issued to German forces marked ' FL.H.Kdtr.L Giessen No.1657 ' and to the reverse ' AB . BLUT GR.'. This would indicate issue to a member of the Luftwaffe staff at Giessen airfield, a base for bombers North of Frankfurt. Good, used condition with some small areas of light corrosion and what appears to be the original cord.
