British 1888 MK I Type 2 Lee Metford Bayonet

Victorian, Lee Metford, 1888 Mark I Type 2 bayonet manufactured for the British .303 calibre Enfield, Lee Metford rifle. Clearly marked with Victorian crown and ' 6 and 93 ' indicating manufacture in June 1893 with a broad arrow and ' WD ' with various inspection marks to blade and grip. Also marked ' 511 ' to body with matching number to scabbard throat. The bayonet is contained in a standard 1888 MK I pattern scabbard with inspection marks to leather and steel parts. Good, used condition with some staining but no corrosion.
