WWII U.S.Mk.2A1 Fragmentation Grenade with Release Fuze M1.

WWII U.S.Mk.2A1 fragmentation grenade fitted with an M1 release fuze to make a highly effective booby trap. Designed to be intiated by the removal of an object from the latch fuze which in turn would initiate the connected explosive charge. A load of at least 2lbs was required to maintain downward pressure on the latch. Grenade and fuze in good condition with body of grenade with manufacturer's marking and retaining approx 50%+ of it's original paint.
