WW2 German Sun Helmet.

1942 dated, unissued example of a German 2nd type, felt and cork sun helmet. Die-struck alloy shields to both sides with some wear to paint finish. Undamaged chinstrap and leather edging. Clean leather half lining/forehead protector manufacturer marked ' A P N 1942 ' and sized 56 to the interior with various glued, presumably inspection labels present. Excellent condition with some minor bruising to crown.
