Russian M1940 Shapka-Ushanka
Russian M1940 Shapka-Ushanka. This pattern was adopted in April 1940 to replace the Budionovka. This example in good, used condition with typical soiling, nap wear to the fleeced cotton crown , and some minor fur loss to some edges. Has what appear to be the original cotton tie strings and gilt and enamel cap star. The grey cotton interior shows minor soiling and evidence of wear. In the interior crown can be found the manufacturer's mark, this is of the more generic wartime type where the block stamp only has the ' 4 ' discernible.
