A PAIR OF DLV COLLAR PATCH INSIGNIA.

Not quite sure why these would have been removed from the collar patches, but they have, so here are a matched pair of the winged propeller insignia, that went on the blue collar patches for the DLV. The 'Deutche Luft Verband' were formed to get around the Versailles Treaty and officially existed as a civil organisation training volunteer glider pilots! It was absorbed into the Luftwaffe as soon as it was formed, and the insignia was all changed then. Cast aluminium, one pin missing on one side, otherwise all pins intact.
