WW2 British 76 Division marked Helmet.

Standard MkII helmet marked to one side with a red ' Norfolk Wherry ' the sign of the 76th Infantry Division. Partial manufacturer's stamping to rim fitted with a MkI, 1939 dated 6 3/4 liner by Helmets Ltd. Helmet has had two coats of paint with the final layer being a thick, hand applied finish. Black square with red wherry to one side which has the classic liner mark left when helmets were stacked. Increasingly difficult to source any unit marked helmets.
