WW2 East Yorkshire Slouch Hat.

A good, used, WW2 slouch hat bearing the badge of the East Yorkshire Regt. Solid felt body with some very minor moth nibbles with a six fold puggaree with a rifle green additional fold and a fastening stud to allow the folding of one side. Brown leather headband, broad arrow marked with the mark of Failsworth Hats and a date of 194?. Approx. size 6 3/4 with flaking and splitting of headband. Good example.
The 1st Batt. E.Yorks Regt. saw extensive service in India and Burma during WW2.
