Unissued US M6 Knife Bayonet.

An original, unissued, US M6 knife bayonet for use with the M14 Rifle. This example was made in 1966 by the Columbus Milpar and Manufacturing Co., Columbus, OH. and marked to the cross guard
' MIL PAL COL ' and ' US M6 '. Contained in it's original packaging indicating manufacture in 1966 and subsequent rewrapping in 1969 indicating it's probable relegation to reserve stock as the M16 rifle began to be issued in the same year. Excellent, unissued condition,
Knife only, no scabbard.
