Uncommon flying logbook and related ephemera to 490053 LACW J.M.Haakman. According to her accompanying paybook Haakman enlisted in 1943 and had her first flight in Feb 1945. She went on to make various flights into Europe bringing back casualties and stretcher cases all of which she itemises in the log book. Haakman continued to fly in this role until 1947 when she had accumulated 266 hours with an appreciation by her CO to her paybook on discharge. Various newspaper clippings , invitations and loading schedule accompany this uncommon grouping.
