Luftwaffe O/Rs Flight Visor Cap.

WW2 Luftwaffe O/R's and NCO's visor cap piped in yellow for flight branch. Size marked 56 and dated 1937 with now indistinct maker's trademark present to the interior in the diamond left by the missing celluloid protector. Two separate unit markings are present, one to a flying school and another for the Flieger Horst Kompanie. Leather headband has an area of damage with a section missing but otherwise present and firm
Woollen body with three areas of damage to the crown, largely undamaged yellow piping with a vulcan fibre peak with green underside. Small area of peak seam missing which is not visible when displayed. Aluminium wreath surmounted by a second pattern eagle. Good, honest cap.
