Special Forces /SOE code silk.

Highly uncommon, wartime enciphering key printed on silk as used by SAS, Jedburgh teams and other clandestine forces. Using the one-time pad system of encription this key was used for encoding and decoding messages and was printed on silk for it's durability and ease of concealment, particularly in clothes. This particular example also includes shorthand message blocks for ease of transmission. Measuring 40cms x 45cms approx it is in excellent, clean condition.
