WW1 British Army Biscuit Souvenir.

An example of a British WW1 hard tack biscuit used as a souvenir. To one side, written in ink is the inscription ' Weat and Woking Surrey 24.8.15 ' and to the other side ?95 Company 24th Divisional Train ASC '. The 195 Co. 24th Div. Train ASC went on to serve later in 1915 at Plugstreet and St.Eloi during the Battle of Messines. The biscuit is substantially intact to one side but has flaked to the other side but retains the majority of the inscription. Unusual.
