PAIR WW1 IMPERIAL GERMAN MARINE ARTILLERY BINOCULARS 12 x 50 CARL ZIESS JENA.

These are technically antique now as they are over 100 years old. A very nice pair of binoculars from WW1 and used by the Marine Artillery. In excellent condition throughout with perfect optics, and everything in full working order. The black leather covering is worn in a few places, exactly where they have been held over all these years. Marked Carl Ziess on one side and Jena with the 12x50 on the other. Bakelite eye cups still intact and not damaged, both eye pieces adjust for focus as well as adjusting centrally. Both lens hoods extend properly to shield for exterior light. An excellent set of military binoculars with explanatory documentation from a German specialist web site. Purchased from a house call in Clacton-on-Sea.
