US .90 Cal T-4 Experimental Round.

This round was the result of a US project commenced in 1937 to develop a .90 inch machine cannon for aircraft use. This example, a dummy HE with an aluminium dummy fuze, has Lot and calibre markings to projectile body with a profusely marked brass 23x139SR case with markings indicating manufacture by Frankford Arsenal. Good overall condition with original paint and filling ring to projectile, case made inert by the provision of a hole to bottom of case.
