WW1 British Brodie Helmet.

An untouched, sleepy British Mk1 Brodie helmet of pre May 1917 manufacture indicated by the lack of rubber ring to liner .
A good proportion of ithe original rough sawdust mixed khaki paint remains to inside & out with chinstrap in good condition with Brodie stamp to underside of oilcloth liner.
Underside of brim has markings ' FS ' denoting manufacture by Thomas Firth & Sons Ltd of Sheffield. Good, untouched example.
