WW2 Japanese Summer Weight Cap.

WW2 Japanese Summer weight cap. Khaki, multi-piece, cotton body with reinforced, but foldable peak, leather strap and wool star stitched to front with lace adjustment/fastening to rear body. Interior is lined in white cotton with a leather sweatband, no sign of markings.Excellent and possibly unissued condition, one strap retaining button is missing but strap has been sewn to side. Unusually in my experience, this cap came with other Japanese souvenirs retained by a serviceman's family.
