WW2 Russian Pilotka.

Good, original, 1940 dated Russian o/r's cap or ' pilotka '. Brass and enamel star to front, missing one of it's securing pins but has been contemporaneously secured with cotton. Clear signs of use with staining and marking and wear to interior oilcloth headband. Manufacturer's and date stamp in green ink to interior cotton lining. Characterful example.
