WW2 German Luftwaffe Fighting/Boot Knife.

A good, original example of a Luftwaffe issued boot/fighting knife - ' Kampfmesser der Wehrmacht Luftwaffe .' Brown stained, beech wood grips with 3 rivets with a 170mm double edged blade with a Luftwaffe acceptance stamp of stylised eagle enclosing a 5 to ricasso. Blade appears to be unsharpened and has some staining, finger marks etc. Scabbard retains its full black paint finish with some minor marking, scratching etc., the spring boot clips undamaged and strong. A good example that was contained in the estate of a 6th Airborne veteran.
