WW2 DJ Training Stick Grenade.

Half size stick grenade that was used by DJ and and other youth movements for training in the throwing of grenades. As the Nazi youth movements became increasingly militaristic their training followed suit with more emphasis being placed on basic military training. Grenade throwing became part of the requirements for passing the various proficiency awards in many of the organisations. Good used condition with some residual red paint to body of the grenade, no other markings.
