A good used example of a WW1 '08 Pattern Webbing Bayonet Frog with Helve Strap. Dated 1918 and marked ' M.E. Co ' indicating manufacture by the Mills Equipment Company, this example demonstrates the final wartime pattern, omitting the brass reinforcing rivets which were replaced by diagonal lines of stitching. Blancoed to the front face with untreated reverse.
