GOLDEN HITLER YOUTH HONOUR BADGE.

Was introduced by von Schirach as a national award in June 1934. It was awarded to all members of the HJ, affiliate organisations and the NSDAP who had attended the Potsdam Youth rally in 1932, or who had been members of the HJ prior to that. In all there were 107,000 boys and girls eligible to wear it. It is basically identical to the standard HJ members pin, but with a wide gold border around the edge. In near mint condition, it is marked on the back with a 4 digit, serial or issue number 9252, the RZM circle, the RZM makers code M1/70 (for Franz Otto, Wuppertal-Elberfeld) and Ges Gesch. A lovely used badge with age and patina but in perfect condition.
