HITLER YOUTH COMMEMORATIVE SPORTS DAY BADGE WITH THE SA IN 1939.

I have a wonderful contact in Vienna, Austria who regularly sends me Hither Youth items. This is one of a batch of 5 recently received. This is a great 'work-day' commemorative day badge between the SA & the HJ. Probably a 'sports days' in the mountains. Dated 27-29 January 1939 and held in AFLENZ, a mountain ski resort in Austria. 27th-29th January in 1939 was from Friday to Sunday, so a nice weekend! Badge is made of aluminium in the shape of a shield. It has the SA sports badge in the centre, with the dates and place above. Reverse has pin-back with a Vienna maker and RZM M9/235 code with RZM mark. A wonderful Sports Day badge, which I am sure could be researched further.
