WW2 SAS Parachute Wing.

An original set of SAS parachute wings. Typical example of later War, ordnance quality , often referred to as ' 44 pattern '. Manufactured with a more standardised style the wings are embroidered, using three colours of blue with white parachute canopy with lines picked out in white cotton and the feathers of the wing picked out in black. Wing is backed with black cotton which is padded with thick string. Excellent, used condition with clear evidence of having been worn, classic example of this pattern of wing.
