WW2 period Hungarian Army Field Service side cap. Heavy khaki material with turn down flaps and false peak topped with a bronzed and painted shield bearing the Hungarian national symbol and closed with bronzed buttons bearing Hungarian shield. Liner has been constructed from different types of cotton presumably as an economy measure. In excellent, used condition with the body of the cap being worn with clear lack of wear when flaps are turned back. Liner shows clear sign of wear, moth free. Uncommon item.
