1st Patt F.S.Knife.

An example of the classic 1st Pattern Fairburn-Sykes Fighting Knife, as produced by Wilkinson Sword from 1941. Nickel-plate on brass and steel with ' Wilkinson Sword ' and ' F-S Fighting Knife ' etch to both sides. Both knife and scabbard are in good, used condition with smudging to blade and some light bubbling to cross guard plating . Signs of contemporary sharpening with slight wear to handle. The scabbard is again in good condition with strong stitching and retaining the Newer snap fastener, the shape however, has a small dent and is missing it's retaining staple.
This particular knife has not been in the trade at any point and was acquired directly from a family home. An opportunity to acquire an honest example that has seen use .
