A good, untouched WW1 Imperial German Seitengewehr S98/05aA Bayonet. Manufactured by Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie, Solingen and dated 1915 with numerous inspection marks to pommel, blade, quillion and scabbard. Showing all the features of the aA model, no flash guard and the prominent residual muzzle ring and complete with a leather and steel scabbard. Patinated overall with some bruising to reverse grip, scabbard stitching intact and tight. A pleasing, honest example.
