WW1 Saxon Grenadiers Officer's Picklehaube Plate

Two-piece gilt and white metal Saxon Grenadiers Officer's picklehaube plate. Marked with an ' O ' to the reverse indicating manufacture by G.H.Osang of Dresden with the star retaining much of it's fire gilt finish. White metal centre piece has two bruises but otherwise an attractive example.
