WW2 German M24 Stick Grenade.

An original example of the German M24 stick grenade , the standard model used by German forces in WW2. Original stencilling to body with residual 1938 marking, stamped manufacturer's details and inspection. Manufacturer three letter code ' fcc ' and dated 43 with a further inspection to handle. code and 43 date to body. Removable cap reveals porcelain ball on plaited cord attached to pull igniter. All items disassemble and are inert. The grenade has been inerted by the expedient of uncrimping the joint of the body and it's base, this has lead to a degree of loss to the joint which has subsequently been repainted. Despite this , still a very presentable example and priced to accommodate these shortcomings . With the exception of the area of damage this grenade would rate well above average.
