A perfect example of this medal awarded for 4 children and instituted in December 1938. The Third Reich saw this award as very important and designated vast beaurorcratic resources to administer it. Was awarded in 3 grades, bronze/silver/gold. This one is complete with ribbon and paper packet of issue. Packet is stamped with details (in German) on the front and a small makers name printed on the reverse.
