Freikorps Sleeve Badge - Kokampf.

Struck brass Totenkopf attached to a black, backed diamond shape piece of badge cloth . This badge was associated with one of the Freikorps units - Tank Abteilung Korting which managed to assemble a number of armoured cars and five tanks which took part in the street fighting in Berlin. Their vehicles were all adorned with the Totenkopf symbol and there is photographic evidence of it being worn as a sleeve insignia in this form. In good used condition with evidence of having been removed from a uniform. Uncommon.
