Frontbann badge.
An uncommon and insignificant looking award called the Frontbann badge, often mistaken as a daybadge. The badge was instituted in 1932 and designated as an official award in 1933. The Frontbahn was set up in 1924 as a substitute for the then banned SA men. The award had a short life span as it was no longer authorized for wear after 1934. In good overall condition marked ' Ges Gesch ' to reverse fitting with vestigial remains of the silvered finish.
