WW2 REME Coloured Field Service Cap.

O/R's coloured Field Service cap for a member of the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers. Die -struck, 1st pattern, brass REME cap badge with brass GS buttons to apron with a leather headband. Glazed cotton, faux leather interior lining with the name ' F.Edwards ' to the underside of headband . Approx. size 6 7/8 and in excellent used condition with two moth holes to crown, the crown shows evidence of the old soldier's trick of sharpening the look by sewing the crown together. Good example.
