WW1 Prussian Shako.

A good, untouched example of a Prussian enlisted ranks shako. Sound leather body with crazing to the patent finish fitted with a chemically treated, zinc finish Prussian plate and topped with a Prussian field cockade. National and state cockades both present with paint loss to the Prussian example. Dry and potentially fragile strap present with ' zinced ' fittings. Interior lining entirely present and undamaged although missing it's drawstring. Manufacturer's stamp present but difficult to read with various other unit and date stamps to rear peak. Good example.
